Heera Collections was founded by Hetal Thakorlal in 2020, during a period of global uncertainty. With international travel paused and time unexpectedly slowed during the pandemic, Hetal found herself revisiting her own jewellery collection. As she organised her drawers, she realised many pieces felt dated and no longer reflected her evolving style.
With more time to explore and research, she began shopping locally —only to discover that Brisbane lacked accessible, modern South Asian jewellery options that balanced heritage with contemporary design.
What began as curiosity quickly turned into passion. Hetal immersed herself in research, sourcing, and understanding emerging trends within South Asian fashion. Over the years, her refined eye for detail, styling, and curation has been consistently recognised and complimented. Friends, family, and customers alike have admired her ability to select pieces that feel both elegant and distinctive.
